Relaxation is necessary for everyone, especially relaxation in the open air, which helps to forget responsibilities and daily chores. If you want to enjoy an authentic rural atmosphere, but at the same time not only sunbathe, but also actively relax, then you are welcome to stay alone in the house Kalna Raskumi on the Vecpiebalga side. Lake Alauksta is like a gift to the guests who come to relax with us, because we offer various activities and recreation opportunities for both adults and children right on the lake shore and in the lake. <\/span><\/p>\n

Kalna Raskumu guest house offers six bedrooms for your convenience, but we can accommodate twenty-two people in total if you are planning a larger party or event. We have celebrated birthdays, small weddings, wedding anniversaries, etc. On warm summer days and evenings, you can also stay in the specially equipped tent and camper sites located near the guest house. The tent sites are equipped with both tables and a barbecue area, fire pits for your convenience and pleasant celebrations, so that everything is within reach. You can choose a room with a view of the lake, the courtyard or the garden. <\/span><\/p>\n

Indoors, there is a shared lounge, terrace, sauna and kitchen that everyone can use at their own discretion at any time, whenever they need it. In the kitchen area, you can use the coffee machine there to prepare a delicious morning drink for yourself, which you can enjoy in your room, in the yard or on the terrace with a view of Lake Alauksta. <\/span><\/p>\n

We control the number of people who make reservations for the rest area, so that there are not too many people both indoors and outdoors and everyone feels pleasant and comfortable. <\/span><\/p>\n

You can prepare your meal on the spot or go to the nearby cafe “Udensroze”, where you can not only have a good meal, but also buy local smoked products and Georgian preserves made to order.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Rest house Kalna Raskumi is located 100 m from Lake Alauksta, which is literally within arm’s reach. For the well-being of our guests, we offer the opportunity to both swim and enjoy the beautiful landscape of Alauksta Lake while on a boat. In recent summer seasons, visitors have become fond of trips with sup boards. You can spend several hours or even a day in our water park and not only sunbathe, but relax actively and sports. There are two islands in Aaluksta lake, which make the scenic view of the lake even more attractive. Locals call these islands the big island and the small island, which you can also see closer using a sup board or a boat. The swimming areas have flat shores and a pleasant sandy bed.<\/span><\/p>\n

People choose to stay in Kalna Raskumos even if they go to enjoy some cultural events and concerts in the area, but after that they don’t want to go home. On the shore of Alauksta lake, where the Alauksta stage is, a gathering of Imantas Kalni\u0146as music lovers, or Imantdienas, takes place regularly. A concert on the shore of Lake Alauksta is an unforgettable experience and an emotional adventure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you’ve tried the activities in the lake, you can head to our private outdoor pool, which is only available to guests of Kalna Raskumu. Of course, we cannot fail to mention that it is also possible to fish in the lake, which is used by fishermen who come to visit us. The variety of fish species that can be found in Lake Alauksta is varied, so fishermen like this place and mostly leave with a pleasant catch. <\/span><\/p>\n

Rest and relaxation opportunities are available with us throughout the year. Without a doubt, you can enjoy the beauty and magic of the four seasons of Kalna Raskumu. Visitors also come to us in winter, when they can ski and drink tea in warm rooms and relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. <\/span><\/p>\n

We are open to families with children and animals, there is no additional charge for animals, but they must, of course, be taken care of so as not to disturb other vacationers. For the joy of children and the opportunity for parents to take a breather, there is a children’s playground on our territory, which will be enjoyed by children of all ages. It should be noted that children who have reached the age of eighteen and stay with us overnight will be charged the adult price. Kalna Raskumi is also accessible to people with mobility impairments, because we are aware that everyone wants to rest and we are able to provide it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

We would say that the greatest joy and pleasure is precisely the authentic natural landscape that cannot be enjoyed and seen anywhere else. No matter what time of year you go to Kalna Raskumi, you will see the riches and beauty of the Latvian landscape here. <\/span><\/p>\n

When you have tried everything that the activities of Kalna Raskumi have to offer, you can go for a look around. For example, it is possible to rent a retro car with us. Why not brighten up your vacation and go to one of the nearby museums or on a further route with a retro car? Retro car rental is also used to please someone on a holiday or at a wedding. <\/span><\/p>\n

Vecpiebalga is known for its cultural heritage and cultural workers, who have their homes or museums in Vecpiebalga bus. For example, the museum of Em\u012blas D\u0101rzi\u0146as, Anton Austr\u012bns or K\u0101r\u013cis Skalbes. From May to September, you can see the famous Vecpiebalga water lilies, which are located in the heart of Vecpiebalga, on the side of the Madona – C\u0113sis highway. Oak sculptures made during the “Tree and Axe” symposium are placed in the park of Kaives manor. This is only a small part of the possibilities to see and do on the side of Vecpiebalga. The easiest way to find us is to use the navigation program to enter our location or the name of the house – Kalna Raskumi. Driving from Riga, you will spend an average of 2 hours on the road, as we are about 130 km from the capital of Latvia. <\/span><\/p>\n

You can use different ways to make a reservation. One way is to book a stay on the site <\/span>www.booking.com<\/span><\/a>, specifying Kalna Raskumi in Vecpiebalga in the search engine, choosing the number of rooms you need, specifying the number of people and the date you want to arrive and check out. Arrival at the rooms is from 15.00 11.00. <\/span><\/p>\n
